We’re shining the spotlight on MJC Law, one of our office members at Bank House.

They’ve recently upgraded to a larger office space at 2-Work, so we caught up with them to chat about their new office, what they love about the space, and their goals for the year ahead!

WHAT LED YOU TO CHOOSING 2-WORK @ BANK HOUSE?

We needed a flexible working option, which enabled us to increase or decrease the size of our office space at relatively short notice to adjust to the size of our staff team. We also wanted a space where the little things were taken care of at a competitive price. We also were drawn to the communal working areas which gives staff the option to get out of our office and work in a different environment if needed.

Being dog friendly was also important to us. The 2-Work team showed us around and answered all our questions in a really helpful and professional way and made us feel really welcome. We had looked at a number of different options but the consensus was 2-Work was the best fit.

you recently upgraded to a larger office space. how was the process, and what inspired the move?

We are a small business, but expanding so we had gotten to the point that we needed more space for more employees. The process was really simple from raising it, to identifying possible options and we were lucky that a large space had become available and could be adapted to accommodate us in a really short space of time. Overall it was a very low stress process!

and how are you finding the new space?

It’s good now we aren’t tripping over each other! Everything works as it should and staff seem happier about everyone being in at the same time due to the increased space.

what do you like most about the environment here at 2-work?

It’s very convenient and well catered, and all the staff from management to the handyman have been really helpful and easy to work with.

WHAT are your key focuses or objectives for the next 12 months?

We are hoping to consolidate our staff team after a period of growth, so no big plans at present as a business. We are always really busy and our work content can be quite stressful so it’s important to us that our staff feel secure and happy in their jobs, so they can put their energies into the work with as little distraction as possible. Having the right office environment is a big part of that.

for those who need your services, what’s the best way to get in touch with mjc law?

Our work is quite a niche area of law that the general public don’t often realise exists until they are affected by it. We act for people touched by issues around the Mental Health Act and the Mental Capacity Act primarily. Whilst we would hope that people don’t need our services, if anyone does ever need our advice or has any questions, our door is always open or you can go to our website www.mjc-law.co.uk and find lots of useful information there.
